After discussions with connections we were delighted to learn that both Romanised and Success Days are to stay in training next season. Romanised is being prepared to run in the QE2 on October 20th and he remains in good form. It will be only his 5th start of the season so hopefully he will be a relative fresh horse come race day which is important this time of the year.
We are targeting the Darley Stakes on October 13th at Newmarket for Success Days final outing of 2018. He has been a little below the level of form he has consistently shown in previous seasons but if he gets easy ground we expect a big effort from him. Even though he’s been on the go for a long time in preparation for his trip to Australia, he seems on good terms with himself but it’s fair to say he hasn’t been at his best in autumn time previously.
