Two Winners Since Friday

Believe In Beauty won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden in Dundalk last Friday by a length and a quarter ridden by Niall McCullagh

Niall thought she would like the surface and he was right. She’s been very consistent and was deserving of that, she likes fast ground, she doesn’t bend her knee.

“Even from a poor draw she broke smart and got a good tow into the race. Niall said he was going well everywhere. She was dead straight up the home run.

“It was great to get another win for owner David Kelly. He’s had a good year and has been a good supporter and been lucky.

“We’ll look for a nursery or something here. She’s actually in the Forans series final and it’s a nice pot.

“She’ll run away, she’s taking it well, and we’ll keep going to the end of the season.”

Schroders Mistake a daughter of Cable Bay won the Foran Equine Irish EBF Auction Maiden at Fairyhouse on Monday under Niall McCullagh by a length and three parts with four lengths back to third.

She had a good first run in Leopardstown and the race has worked out well. We are delighted with that and it’s nice for the owners.

She showed another facet to her game by handling that ground, which has gone on soft, as she had been running on top of the ground.

There are options of two races for her now, either the final of the Foran series over 7f  or a race over 6f on the same day.
