The Albany Stakes runner up Celtic Beauty goes to York this Thursday for the Sky Bet Lowther Stakes Group 2 over 6f fresh from a nice victory at Naas. That was a good confidence booster and she has come out of the race well. The good ground should suit at York, it is a level fast track, that plays to speed and pace and she showed that as Ascot, she will face stiff competition but hopefully she will give a good account of herself and run well.
It was great to win the Finlay Volvo Cars Summer Fillies Handicap with Crafty Madam on Derby weekend over 7f and she followed this up with a solid 2nd over 1mile on Oaks weekend. She also goes to York on Thursday for the British Stallion Studs EBF Fillies’ Handicap back over the optimum trip of 7f. She has gone up 13lb in the ratings since the start of the year. She is in good order and goes into the race with solid form so we would be hopeful of a good run also
